The New Update ESO Homestead Arrives After Morrowind

The next big event of Elder Scrolls Online has been launched, and now it’s not the ESO Morrowind expansion you may have spotted during Super Bowl 2017.

As you may learned from Bethesda last week, the Elder Scrolls online: Morrowind will be the next big game expansion on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

However, before the launch of the new ESO region, fans already know that another free update is being prepared for release. And today saw the official release of the new ESO Homestead content, which is now available to play on PC and Mac.

There are now 39 unique families to choose from, with a house editing tool and over 2000 separate pieces of furniture and decor. Fans were also told that they can now own one of every family, and all homes have accounts, so all your characters can enjoy the comfort and convenience of the family.

There are two ways to get your first home online in the Elder Scrolls Online. You can choose any furniture or unfurnished home in the Crown Store, or through the Homestead Tutorial task, called "Need a Friend" to get a free hotel room.

For the task of the tutorial, look for Canthion Wood Wizard housing brokers. Find a "housing brochure" in the bank for each major non-DLC region city, and you can find him at the following locations:

• Aldmeri Dominion: Auridon, Vulkhel Guard, in the Vulkhel Guard Manor & Treasury
• Daggerfall Covenant: Glenumbra, Daggerfall, in the Bank of Daggerfall
• Ebonheart Pact: Stonefalls, Davon's Watch, in the Uveran Bank

In addition to this large-scale new system, Zenimax Studios has added Master Crafting Writs, four new Motifs, and updated several project sources in Cyrodiil and Imperial City.

The new Elder Scrolls Online update launched today is about 3.36GB in size and also included these other changes to the game:
