Blizzard, the developer of games such as World of Warcraft and Overwatch, is seeking up to $ 8.5 million in copyright damages from a cheat/hack company named Bossland, which is responsible for making video games, claiming that they allow many users to gain an unfair advantage over regular gamers.

"In this case, Blizzard only requires a minimum statutory damages of $ 200 per infringement, amounting to $ 8,563,600.00 in total. While Blizzard is certainly entitled to a greater amount, Blizzard seeks only the minimum legal damages.
