Final Fantasy XV Will Be Released on PC on March 6th 2018

Both versions of Final Fantasy XV will launch on March 6 with a sizable amount of additional content.

Square Enix has announced that they will release a special edition of Final Fantasy XV for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 6th. It will also feature a brand-new dungeon - Insomnia City Ruins: Expanded Map - and a new version of the Armiger weapon that is described as being more "action-oriented".

In addition to the expanded city, players will also have access to a fully-controlled Royal Vessel boat that will allow exploration of the area between Cape Caem and Altissia for the first time (rather than just travelling between the two in a cutscene as in the base game).

As a free-to-play offshoot of the Team Ninja-developed fighting game, Opera Omnia sounds like a game that created to appeal to Final Fantasy fans who like to see their beloved characters team up but can not complete Dissidia's odd fighting system.

Finally, the Royal Edition will include a variety of new bosses, equipment and a first person mode. Among other things, Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition will support native 4K and 8K resolutions with HDR10 and DOLBY ATMOS, as well as current MOD support.

Four expansions followed the well-received "Final Fantasy XV".

According to the previous news, the price for the Royal Pack was listed as $19.99, but Square Enix clarified to DualShockers, mentioning that it incorrectly listed the price point and the actual final price has not been set yet. The feature of the Royal Edition is "the base game and over 20 game add-ons / DLC" as well as a host of new features, the most exciting of which is Insomnia's expanded map with new enemies and side quests.
