The World of Warcraft pipular Nostalrius vanilla Server, who suffered the shutdown by the Blizzard last year, has already successfully resurrected and the Project Elysium provides players with an opportunity to use a brand new vanilla PVP server at the old school player-versus-player to take a fresh stab. It will be very crowded.
The World of Warcraft has come a long way since its launch in 2004, and although a lot of players are happy with Blizzard's latest official development, many players have argued that the game was the best in the last few years, when it was more difficult and complicated. When Blizzard shut down Project Nostalrius in April 2016, the popular free game vanilla fan server distributed about 150,000 active users between two servers.
After Blizzcon 2016 come and gone without no announcement from Blizzard about the official vanilla server, the Project Elysium brought back two Nostalrius servers, and now it is expanding. Saturday, June 7, marks the launch of the Elysium PVP server, which is a brand new start, people like to balance their ganked with one side. The server is scheduled for Saturday morning Eastern time, after which the project's ability to handle a flood of players will be tested.
The free-to-play fan server is definitely not made by Blizzard, so play with your own risk. Knowing that a closure notice can appear at any time is part of the excitement.
